Food Hygiene

Our ‘Food Hygiene’ lesson covers the ‘Taking care of my body’ strand unit of the ‘Myself’ strand of the SPHE curriculum for 1st and 2nd class. Science is also integrated into this lesson as students learn about the importance of hand hygiene and the difference between best-before and use-by dates.
